Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer - born on August 4, 1981, is an American actress. She is best known for her performance in the film Cowboys & Aliens,The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and This Is Where I Leave You as well as for her roles on the television show Angela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne and Suits. She currently stars as Amantha Holden in The Sundance Channel drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer, an American actor and director of films who also works on television. She is famous for her role in the drama show Rectify and on the sci-fi series Timeless. Her first appearance on stage was All My Children, a soap opera based out of Gulf Breeze Florida. Her performance was recognized with a Soap Opera Digest Award' for Outstanding Female Newcomer. She mostly played in character roles as a guest over the course of many years. Her role as the Dr. Erin Jameson on the TV series Hawthorne was praised by the audience. Due to her stunning appearance and her acting skills her character slowly garnered the attention of a huge following. When she was about twenty-years old, her first film role was in Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War was another film in which she was a part of. In recognition of her performance as a character in Beautiful Now she received a Madrid International Film Festival Award nomination. Her most recent work in TV is in the role of history professor Lucy Preston in the sci-fi TV series Timeless. It has been well-received by critics and Spencer's role has been nominated in the Teen Choice Award.
